Problem: Allurion sought to launch a first-of-its-kind swallowable gastric balloon, eliminating the need for anesthesia or endoscopy. However, early-stage development faced challenges in thin film material performance, valve precision, and scalable manufacturing—putting commercialization at risk.

Solution: HaA PD collaborated with Allurion and its manufacturing partners to refine the device’s design and production. Our team developed precision CAD models, custom tooling, and a reliable filling system. We improved throughput and yield, helping bring a safe, non-invasive solution to market. Allurion’s success led to a 2023 IPO, now trading under ALUR on the NYSE.
