Swallowable Gastric Balloon - Elipse

Allurion worked with the HaA team to help develop its revolutionary swallowable gastric balloon device. The Allurion Balloon is a pill balloon capsule, which is swallowed under the guidance of Healthcare Professionals without anesthesia or endoscopy. It is a safe, non-permanent device that is part of an overall weight loss program.

HaA worked closely with the balloon manufacturer to solve design and manufacturing related issues to help create a robust, high performing balloon device and filling system. Our engineering team created CAD models, designed and procured tooling, and helped to increase throughput and yield on the manufacturing line. This project included thin film materials work and precise valve design to meet specifications.

Allurion Technologies went public in August, 2023 and is now trading under the symbol ALUR on the NYSE.
